Friday, Nov. 7 Show from 12 to 2
I am on two hours early this week . . . from 12 to 2 am on Fri night (Sat. morning) instead of my usual 2 to 4.
Here are the shows worth thinking about this weekend, next week:
--Sa 11/08 Disband, The Deep Six, Manamid, The Nein @ PS 211 (W-S)
--Sa 11/08 Guided By Voices w/ The Oranges @ Cat's Cradle (C-H). I haven't seen Guided by Voices for years, but that used to be a great live show. I was never as much into the records, but back then I was a little bit more dogmatic in my punk ways.
--Su 11/09 The Yeah Yeah Yeahs w/ The Tall Boys, Entrance @ Cat's Cradle (C-H)
--Mo 11/10 +/-, The Wrens w/ Disband @ Go! Room 4 (C-H)
--Tu 11/11 Quails, Des Ark @ Gate City Noise (GSO)
--Fr 11/14 Xiu Xiu, El Guapo, Brother Reade, Ashrae Fax @ PS211 (W-S)
Bunch of GREAT shows coming up Thanksgiving week with Q And Not U w/ Black Eyes, Fin Fang Foom 11/21; Ex-Models 11/24; Landing 11/25 but might have to miss them because of the holiday. Bad timing.
